Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for an Associate Product Manager, DSB in Suwanee, GA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for overall maintenance, updates and management of the software program, Diamond System Builder (DSB), for design of VRF systems. The position will research and coordinate business, field and end-customer needs and requests to ensure that DSB is delivering on the needs of its users. This person will also refine requirements for the development team and communicate enhancements, updates, and new feature introductions across departments. They will stay abreast of new product introductions and ensure that data and incorporated into DSB as part of the overall launch process. They will also define the future vision, roadmap, and backlog in partnership with the development team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain/update Diamond System Builder (DSB) as needed
- Work as liaison between METUS sales, product management, operations/Trane and SDC and/or developers of DSB Quantum
- Coordinate updates of product entry and DSB and Trane’s Job Center updates
- Work with field to define new features for DSB, define requirements and features
- Work with software team to define timelines
- Prioritize software updates to match market entry timelines
- Ensure timelines with developer are optimized to meet market entry timelines
- Work with product marketing to develop communication path for market entry
- Complete database templates for product integration
- Monitor factory data stream
- Identify, document and prioritize system issues and resolution
- Willing to travel up to 25% for various company meetings and training both domestically and possibly internationally
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience in HVAC Design using VRF equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC design standards and building codes
- Self-motivated individual with desktop applications background and/or web and mobile application experience
- Detail oriented, highly organized, able to multi-task, and good interpersonal skills.
- Experience with database structure and/or database maintenance a plus
- Strong technical writing skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for improving products and design application tools preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
