Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Work with publicly traded and private companies and financial sponsors to originate, structure and execute equity and equity-linked financings such as initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, block trades, convertibles, and private placements across industry sectors in the Americas. Support live deal execution including running due diligence processes, investor education, negotiating underwriting agreements and other legal documents, organizing, and attending deal and non-deal roadshows and interacting daily with corporate clients, investors and other bookrunners for the execution and pricing of equity capital markets transactions. Requires: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with each of the following: producing client reports on analyses of market data and economic variables including stock prices, trading volumes, interest rates, inflation, GDP growth, stock indices, and volatility metrics leveraging electronic data sources, including Bloomberg, FactSet and Capital IQ; creating macroeconomic and industry sector market updates for clients utilizing Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point; covering clients in an investment banking or financial advisor role including leading client conversations, organizing client events, preparing and presenting pitch materials, and providing regular financial and market updates; preparing written summaries for clients on different stock market topics including stock trading performance, investor feedback and overall equity markets color; preparing client-specific pitch materials, organizational call presentations and roadshow presentations; and managing trade execution or settlement processes in coordination with operations teams. Additionally, must have prior experience with each of the following: working simultaneously on several equity capital market transactions of a minimum transaction size of $250M in an active bookrunner role; performing technical analysis around sizing of equity capital markets transactions and investor targeting across different investor communities including Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, and Sovereign Wealth Funds; synthesizing investor feedback to assess pricing and allocations for equity capital markets transactions; and drafting and reviewing legal documents related to capital markets transactions including registration statements, lock-up agreements, and underwriting agreements. Must have FINRA SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 licenses, or must obtain within three (3) months of joining the Firm. Travel required approximately 10% of the time (both international and domestic). Salary Range: The expected annual base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $174,000 - $225,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
