About the Role

We are seeking a motivated AssociateMortgage Loan Originator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will:

  Assist with managing and processing the MLO’s overflow loan applications, providing you with a steady stream of opportunities to develop your skills.

Position Overview

Successful Mortgage Loan Originators will proactively identify, develop and maintain a quality network of business relationships that will serve as a source of referrals for new mortgage lending opportunities. The external relationships fostered may consist of realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts. Successful Loan Originators participate in business related development opportunities, community efforts to promote home ownership and professional organizations. The Loan Originator is responsible for interviewing new and existing customers to determine their financial needs and advising those customers of appropriate products, terms, and pricing. The Loan Originator will navigate the borrower through the process and help to gather required information through clear and timely communication. The Loan Originator is the first line of defense for the company and its investors, he or she is responsible for the submission of clear accurate loan documentation and maintaining industry compliance regulations. The Loan Originator must ensure appropriate procedures are followed while meeting sales goals and objectives.

Requirements

• This position is on site in an office located in Coconut Creek FL
• In addition to onsite training, AMLO will attend a virtual training which lasts 6-8 weeks.

Qualifications

• Active Mortgage Loan Originator license is required.
• Less than 3 years of experience in mortgage origination.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with a desire to learn and grow.
• Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
• Technology savvy- Encompass experience is a plus
