The salary range for this position is $68,155 - $85,193 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales & Education Executive is responsible for all aspects of driving and maximizing sales, training, and education to support all brands within the KENDO portfolio in all retailers. The Sales & Education Executive will ensure assigned stores are exceeding sales targets through high-touch store and advisor trainings, cluster trainings and events for FENTY Beauty, FENTY Skincare, KVD Beauty and OLEHENRIKSEN. This position will develop and build strong relationships with all Retail partners at levels of leadership to maintain excellent client service with their stores.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
DRIVING SALES
- Responsible for driving sales, optimizing in-store merchandising and brand presentation, inventory focus and ensuring 'best in class' execution of brand training and team-selling
- Achieve/Exceed sales targets by focusing on selling behaviors, client insights, techniques, and trainings in-store
- Report metrics/KPI's for key conversion targets post store visits and all client interactions
- Provide timely competitive feedback and client insight, leveraging technology tools i.e. REPSLY
- Understand opportunities and strategize with Regional Manager to develop business plans to increase sales, planning special events to support brand marketing calendar as needed
- Implement cluster trainings and store-level events to maximize brand and product exposure in-stores
- Conduct Business meetings, elevate inventory issues and oversee visual merchandising standards
- Drive client sales & conversion in all retail partners, to remain flexible to sales needs
- Servicing all clients via in store support in determined key markets inclusive of top selling promos/peak client traffic. Lead in store training & education on product launches & core skus. Drive store level events & market activations to support launches
- Identify Competitive Insights and share reporting through platforms such as Repsly and Survey Monkey
- Effectively Operate within T&E budget exercising good judgement, completing and submitting reports through established processes
ECOMMERCE/DIGITAL
- Drive client sales & conversion across all KENDO ecomm channels as requested
- Proven comfortability and intermediate knowledge of social media platforms such as IG, IG Live, Tik Tok
- Responsible for executing virtual consultations for all brands, delivering exceptional client experience/expertise.
- Provide timely competitive feedback and client insight from virtual consultations leveraging technology feedback tool, IE REPSLY
- Responsible for content creation (internal & social platforms) for all brands as needed
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Execute education and brand trainings to drive brand sales, increase brand advisor love and key selling skills for KENDO brands and products
- Fully understand all retailers and KENDO launches to efficiently drive business through store events, retail activations, trainings, and education events
- Present and reinforce a professional appearance and maintain the Company's and Retailer's appearance and dress code standards at all times, frequently changing makeup styles to reflect current trends by wearing seasonal looks
- Provide excellent and courteous customer service to all partners in and out of KENDO
MANAGING RELATIONSHIPS
- Identify field team needs and global issues to KENDO Education team to develop creative solutions while sharing Field and Store voice
- Collaborate with team members to develop best practices, execute large-scale selling events and drive team performance
- Build and maintain in store & field leadership relationships with all retailers
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work within Company expense budgets, following established guidelines and procedures
- Additional duties may be required as assigned
- Ability to travel overnight, when required 20-30% of the time
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree: 2+ years an Account Executive or Brand Trainer is required
- Experience with, and full understanding of, the Sephora & Ulta concept is preferred
- Proficiency in conducting meetings and trainings, as needed, via various communication platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel & Outlook, and iPad applications
- Exceptional communication skills (presentation/verbal/written)
