The salary range for this position is $68,155 - $85,193 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Brands has a hybrid work model with three days in office and two days remote each week.
POSITION SUMMARY
We're looking for a Payroll professional to join our growing team. You'll assist with all aspects of payroll for US and Canada. Additionally, you will help update and audit our HR database. You have a strong attention to detail, the ability to continuously learn from past results and adapt to the ever-changing payroll laws.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with multi-state bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll processing for two company codes.
- Timecard management for hourly employees
- Audit new hire and other entries into HR/Payroll system for accuracy and update
- Become an expert in our payroll system, ensuring accurate record keeping
- Provide excellent customer service, helping to resolve and respond to payroll related questions from employees at all levels of the organization
- Update employee cost centers in the HR/Payroll system as needed
- Provide reports to Finance and cross functional partners when requested
- Other projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of full-cycle multi-state payroll processing experience
- Experience with ADP Vantage preferred
- Strong people skills and proven record of exceptional customer service
- Highly detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Capable of exercising discretion over payroll related matters of importance
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities to meet established deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
