Associate Manager, Email & SMS Marketing - Cole Haan

The Associate Manager, Email & Retention Marketing will play a key role in developing, executing, and evaluating email and SMS marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing brand engagement and driving profitable sales. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, including eCommerce, Buying, Creative, and external partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute email (50%), SMS (45%), and direct mail (5%) workflows, including asset delivery and QA.
• Maintain relationships with digital and marketing teams, focusing on eCommerce, buying, and creative design.
• Ensure timely completion of creative and technical briefs.
• Assist with email calendar, reporting, testing strategy, and operational details.
• Analyze and report key performance metrics regularly, applying insights to future campaigns.

• Oversee agency partnerships and manage campaigns from ideation to analysis.
• Collaborate with design and copy teams to ensure customer-centric creative that meets brand standards.

• Monitor competitive landscape and email industry trends.
• Enhance trigger email and SMS programs through creative updates and testing.
• Continuously assess channel performance against KPIs.

• Utilize analytics tools to uncover marketing and customer insights.

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in email & SMS marketing; retail experience preferred.
• Experience with email service providers and managing high-volume email programs.
• Knowledge of email & SMS fundamentals, including CAN-SPAM and segmentation.
• Passionate about digital marketing and online consumer behavior.
• Strong analytical skills to derive actionable insights from data.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Base Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 annually*

Bonus Eligibility: Yes, based on performance
