Purpose of Job:
As an Associate Maintenance Technician, you will assist in performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on all assigned equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring production lines run efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with preventive (PM), predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on all assigned equipment, making recommendations for improvements to maintain production efficiency.
Identify and locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using necessary tools to correct and solve maintenance problems.
Assist with routine equipment trial runs to confirm they meet production specifications.
Ensure equipment is returned to its original operating state or seek supervisor approval to make any alterations.
Report equipment abnormalities and unsafe conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager.
Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of tools, test equipment, and spare parts to ensure work resources are ready and available at the time of service request.
Maintain accurate work logs of repairs and equipment modifications, including preventative maintenance and emergency repairs, to ensure information is available to manage workloads appropriately.
Establish strong working partnerships with all staff based on a commitment to teamwork and mutual accountability to limit downtime and support production needs.
Maintain assigned work areas and the production environment in a clean and orderly fashion.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements, following the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated mechanical skill and technical aptitude.
Strong organizational, analytical, detail orientation, and observational skills.
Flexibility and dependability to work overtime, off-shift, weekends, and holidays to support production needs.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Basic to intermediate mathematical abilities.
Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions.
Proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and related software, ideally Microsoft Office Tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, often with limited supervision.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations, promoting and maintaining an inclusive work environment and culture that is respectful and accepting of diversity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
1 year of previous maintenance technician experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP).
Knowledge of aseptic processes, equipment, and products.
Physical ability to occasionally sit, frequently lift/carry, push/pull up to 50 pounds, reach overhead, climb, squat/bend/kneel, and regularly stand and walk/move about.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
