Associate General Counsel, Litigation - Meta

Summary:

Meta seeks a sharp, strategic and highly motivated, team player to join the Litigation team. You will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of teams across the company. This role requires good judgment, a strong work ethic, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a strong interest in learning about new technologies and areas of the law. Required Skills:

Associate General Counsel, Litigation Responsibilities:

1. Manage and drive strategy for high-profile litigation and pre-litigation matters, including regulatory litigation, consumer class actions, antitrust, constitutional, and commercial disputes, and other content-related matters

2. Collaborate with and manage outside counsel

3. Advise cross-functional teams on litigation strategy and risks

4. Coordinate and actively participate in internal discovery activities in partnership with our world-class eDiscovery team

5. Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving disputes

Minimum Qualifications:

6. J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one U.S. state bar

7. 8+ years of litigation experience at a law firm, government, and/or in-house role

8. Experience managing multiple high priority projects simultaneously

9. Experience managing high stakes, complex litigation

Public Compensation:

$198,000/year to $266,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
