Your Responsibilities
- Assist with corporate matters, contract review, and advising on legal risks and business matters.
- Review NDAs and a wide variety of transactional documents.
- Collaborate with all departments to address legal needs, ensuring compliance and contract execution.
- Draft, review, and summarize commercial agreements to support renewable energy project development.
- Manage legal review processes, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure deliverables meet deadlines.
- Provide legal support to internal teams, attend meetings with stakeholders, and support policy initiatives.
- Analyze complex legal issues, ensuring compliance and delivering innovative solutions.
Our Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- At least 6 years of experience as a practicing attorney in utility, energy, or corporate law.
- Licensed to practice and in good standing in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Experience in renewable energy project development is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven project management experience and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Strong knowledge of clean energy policies, commercial transactions, and compliance matters.
