Shift Details:7:30AM to 4:00PM
Description:
This is an entry level heavy industrial contract position. Individual(s) will support smooth, reliable operations of the fabrication department. Daily responsibilities may require a high level of supervision and will be directed by the Lead-Fabrication Specialist or as delegated. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to; basic shop operations, use of tools, and the handling and prepping of raw materials; develop skills to cut, bend, grind and bevel pipe to create meter sets, regulator stations, and farm taps; perform material handling duties to receive, track and pull inventoried materials used for fabricating projects; prepares fabricated items for processing, such as inspection and painting; assist in the shipping of completed projects; acquire certifications necessary to operate forklift. Individual(s) will be expected to learn and perform all duties in accordance with State and Federal Environmental and Safety Regulations as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience (minimum requirements):
0 - 2 years of gas operations or fabrication shop experience or general construction.
Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
Safety awareness.
Will need to acquire forklift and backhoe certification within 6 months of hire.
Demonstrate the ability to take direction and follow instructions.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
Must be able to lift (50+ lbs), bend, kneel, push, pull, and crawl and work in various elements.
Education Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required
