Associate Director Strategy Planning & Operations at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

The Associate Director, Strategy, Planning & Operations for the Regeneron Obesity Center (ROC) and Internal Medicine will partner with the Head, ROC Strategy & Business Operations and SVP, Internal Medicine and ROC to build and optimize a growing department. You will drive day-to-day operations, to promote effective communication flow and time management, drive annual departmental planning, goal setting, and objectives tracking, oversee resource and finance management, hiring and space planning logistics, and lead onboarding and training initiatives for the department in partnership with broader GD and G&A functions. The Associate Director plays a key role in setting and maintaining ROC/Internal Medicines culture, team building, including off/on-site planning, team building, and other initiatives to build a collaborative and effective team environment. You will work closely with the administrative staff of the department, and oversee centralized healthcare provider contracting activities and other centralized administrative coordination for the group. We feel this role will be both strategic and tactical, requiring a nimble problem solver with strong interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, discernment, the ability to set up logical systems of working, and importantly to be a positive motivator leading in the Regeneron Way.

• Managing departmental leadership meetings and ensuring execution of follow up deliverables
• Departmental goal setting, management, and delivery
• Annual performance processes, talent management reviews and development activities with HR
• Resource and budget management for department with Finance
• Space planning for all functions in ROC/IM
• Hiring strategy and management, including interviewing/hiring logistics, JD creation, tracking, and working with TA on efficient hiring and onboarding processes
• Lead onboarding and training initiatives, including guiding role-based onboarding and training curriculum, to support new hires and ensure they have a welcoming, efficient, and effective onboarding experience
• Internal departmental communications

To be considered, we are looking for candidates to have 10 years of experience focused on drug development and/or project management with a bachelor's degree. We also expect you to be onsite at least 3 days a week in our Tarrytown office
