Job Description
The Consolidated Reporting Specialist plays a pivotal role in delivering bespoke reporting solutions to our most complex clients. This position involves not only the creation of detailed reports but also the ongoing maintenance and quality assurance of data to ensure accuracy and customization to meet specific client needs. Leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the Addepar reporting system and investment strategies, this individual will drive efficiencies within the team and enhance the quality assurance processes for reporting. Additionally, the Consolidated Reporting Specialist will support internal data reporting for various projects and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all data presented is both accurate and relevant.
Responsibilities will include:
Custom Reporting
- Oversee Custom Reporting
- Manage custom reporting requests and deliverables for a portfolio of Cresset’s most complex clients, ensuring bespoke solutions tailored to specific client needs. Create and execute daily quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate and timely updates to clients’ reporting.
- Client Interaction
- Be prepared to join client meetings to address reporting inquiries, providing clear and understandable explanations of performance results and providing guidance on potential reporting solutions.
- Real-Time Solutions
- Actively listen to clients' reporting needs and offer scalable solutions in real-time, demonstrating a deep understanding of Addepar's capabilities.
- Service-Level Agreements
- Provide accurate and reasonable service-level agreements, ensuring client expectations are met and exceeded.
- Client Portal Management
- Oversee the client online portal experience for Cresset’s largest clients, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly interface.
- Automate Custom Reports
- Develop and automate custom reports at the client's request to assist the client service team in delivering timely and accurate information.
Process Improvements
- Data Integrity Management
- Lead the management and maintenance of data integrity for performance reporting and other internal processes, ensuring high standards of accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain Custom Attributes
- Create and maintain various custom attributes used in the system to enhance reporting capabilities and data integrity.
- Support Internal Data Reporting
- Provide comprehensive support for internal data reporting needs within the firm, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Process Improvement
- Take initiative to identify and implement scalability and reporting process improvements, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Addepar Expertise
- Serve as an Addepar subject matter expert and resource for other team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Support Key Initiatives
- In addition to core responsibilities, support key initiatives and campaigns, ad hoc projects, and other efforts at both the advisor team and firm level. This role requires a self-motivated individual who is comfortable juggling multiple projects and eager to foster and deepen relationships to best serve clients and contribute to the firm's growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or STEM related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in investment management with a focus on performance and / or investment reporting. Proficiency in performance reporting and system integrations, with a preference for experience with Addepar
- Strong understanding of performance calculations, common investment characteristics, and benchmarking.
- In-depth knowledge of private investments, their characteristics, metrics, and financial statements
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through, with the ability to perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Must be a collaborative team player willing to contribute in various ways to the advisor teams and the broader Cresset team
- High degree of professionalism and flexibility in a demanding, fast-paced, and frequently changing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to clearly and professionally communicate investment performance using industry standard terms to end clients.
What We Offer
At Cresset, we focus on people first. As a service business, our people are our assets. Engaging our clients and employees is our highest priority. Starting base salary range: $90,000-$115,000. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licenses/certifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location.
