We seek an experienced data quality professional who wants to work with population analytics while seeking opportunities to improve and transform processes thru statistical analysis.

to aid in the creation, analysis, and understanding of their metrics while deriving key insights to drive focus Develop data and statistical insights within enterprise initiatives to ensure our patients receive the highest level of care that is right the first timeCollaborate across Optum Health utilizing statistical quality analysis to present existing trends, patterns, and risks associated with their respective metricsProvide relevant data and statistical insights for quality process improvement in collaboration with quality engineers, clinicians, and leadershipEstablish a foundational data analysis standard that provides a statistical playbook of required graphs, tests, and analysis for effective data evaluation and presentationApply critical thinking, problem-solving methodologies, statistical analysis, and a systemic approach towards highlighting and presenting insights that drive operational improvement Ability to lead, mentor, guide, train, and support data analysis and insight needs across Optum Health Executing the data analysis and evaluation cycles while effectively partnering within and across Optum Health to improve quality and safety for our patientsPrimary Responsibilities:Engage and lead program execution while establishing trust & rapport with functional partners (Technology, Facilities, Operations, Training, Reporting Product, of analysis to ensure we effectively measure, monitor, and manage our clinical metricsEffectively evaluate current program plans and processes while effectively identifying and communicating opportunities for improvementEstablish a high performing team committed to establishing rapport and trust while driving action planning and process improvementDrive forward a culture of continuous improvement and efficiencyPartner to identify critical to quality metrics, and support the operationalization of monitoring and management to deliver improved process performanceAnalyze processes, data, and systems to identify improvement opportunities and make improvement recommendationsCreate effective and compelling visual materials/presentations that support the process improvement impact to the organization and adequately represent the impact to quality, cost, and timeDevelop and maintain appropriate relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate the successful accomplishment of continuous corrective actions7+ years of experience applying quality and complex data analytics 7+ years of people leadership experience within a highly complex/matrixed environment with budget, FTE, and/or savings delivery7+ years of experience influencing people through clear/concise storytelling at all levels in the organization on key decisions and strategies to drive change7+ years of experience in a corporate settingProven to be data driven, yet comfortable with ambiguity and able to balance a bias for action with an understanding of appropriate riskProven leadership, interpersonal, and organizational/management skills with an ability to motivate and lead cross functional teams at all levels to accomplish shared goals under stringent timelinesDemonstrated ability to identify and analyze relevant data to determine the root cause of problems, make data-based decisions, and prioritize actions that will have the greatest impact on customer outcomes and experiencesDemonstrated ability to analyze processes, data and systems to identify improvement opportunities and make improvement recommendationsDemonstrated ability to develop/maintain work plans, UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
