Associate Director of Procurement at Procurement People

We are looking for an Associate Director with an excellent understanding of CAPEX procurement specifically within Manufacturing with a strong preference toward consumer-packaged goods or FMCG. The Associate Director embodies deep expertise and serves as a thought leader in the CAPEX category. This individual has the vision to conceive, initiate, develop, and execute a transformative CAPEX strategy within the dynamic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) landscape. With a proven track record of launching impactful initiatives that bring measurable success, they will inspire stakeholders and foster collaboration. The CAPEX Category Lead is dedicated to driving change and unlocking the full potential of the CAPEX category, creating significant value for clients

Experience

• Over 10 years of extensive experience managing CAPEX categories.
• More than 8 years of experience with a management consulting firm focusing on Procurement Transformation within client organisations.
• 8 years of experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food & Beverage manufacturing sectors.
• Proven CAPEX management experience with an annual spending of at least $500 million.
• Skilled in defining and executing end-to-end sourcing and procurement processes, including analysis, market profiling, strategy development, sourcing execution, negotiations, contracting, and supplier management.
• Ability to identify and lead transformation and improvement opportunities in CAPEX.
• Familiarity with SAP, Coupa, or other Procurement ERP software systems
