Job Description:
Compensation:
- The Compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000 per year.
Essential Duties:
- Assist the Senior Director in identifying and pursuing strategic partnership opportunities with businesses and organizations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective partners, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and manage sponsorship programs, ensuring deliverables are met and value is delivered to all parties involved.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align partnership and sponsorship efforts with the Alumni Association's goals and objectives.
- Support the planning and execution of events, initiatives, and programs that involve external partners and sponsors.
- Track and report on partnership and sponsorship activities, including performance metrics and outcomes.
- Assist in the creation of proposals, presentations, and other materials for partner and sponsor engagement.
- Represent the ASU Alumni Association at meetings, events, and conferences as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successfully managing partnerships and sponsorships.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of higher education and alumni relations is a plus.
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Passionate about fostering community and engagement.
Working Environment:
- Work is typically performed in a temperature controlled environment.
- Should be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- This in an in-person at Old Main on ASU's Tempe Campus.
- Occasional travel and evening/weekend work may be required for events and meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
