About the Job
The Associate Director, Learning & Development plays a pivotal role in shaping the professional growth and success of employees at the Barber National Institute. This position leads the strategic direction of the training program and leads the team that designs, plans, and implements innovative training programs that foster employee engagement, leadership development, and organizational compliance.

A typical day-to-day may include:
- Leading the team to design and implement training programs that align with compliance and organizational goals.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address job-specific training needs.
- Facilitating cross-departmental planning sessions to advance the mission,
- Ensuring employee development is aligned with career ladders, mentoring programs, and organizational competencies.
- Analyze data and adjust operations as required by monitoring and evaluating training effectiveness, implementing continuous improvements.
- Support change management efforts through communication, skill-building, and employee support.
- Lead training initiatives to enhance BNI’s culture and a positive employee experience through targeted activities and programming.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- At least 10 years of related experience, with 5 years in a leadership role.
- Certified Professional in Talent Development (ATD-CPTD) and/or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) is preferred.
- Adult learning experience is required.
