Essential Functions

Solutions Architect:

• Designs data architecture and processes to enhance information management.
• Collaborates with AWS and partners to implement discovery systems.
• Aligns with Infrastructure and Security Architects on enterprise standards.
• Manages the R&D Discovery IT technology roadmap.
• Communicates designs to IT and business stakeholders.
• Participates in architectural design and integration deliverables.
• Researches and recommends efficient technology solutions.
• May code or modify programs and integrate solutions.
• Adheres to corporate standards and policies.
• Delivers projects on time and manages team priorities.
• Engages with users to ensure project alignment with needs.

Organizational Leadership:

• Leads a technical architecture team for discovery IT systems.
• Interviews and selects technical resources for Big Data projects.
• Coaches teams on technical concepts and system functionality.

Requirements

• Work Experience and Education
  • 10+ years in a data-driven research environment.
  • 15+ years in IT, with 5+ years in solutions architecture.
  • Experience with AWS and data management tools.
  • Strong security mindset and passion for innovative technology.
  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
