About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for the position of Associate Director, Digital Medical Capabilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our external digital strategy within our organization's Medical Adoption and Innovation team, leveraging technology to enhance medical capabilities and deliver impactful solutions. This individual will work collaboratively across Scientific Affairs and Medical Affairs teams to define and drive digital strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of the intersection of digital advancements and medical strategies, as well as strong leadership and project management skills. This position will be located in our Titusville, NJ office with the occasional travel to our Horsham, PA site.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the strategic direction, planning, and execution of digital initiatives in support of key medical strategies.
- Drive digital medical innovations and enhance digital presence among patients, healthcare professionals and payers by leveraging digital expertise
- Serve as an omni-channel digital medical expert, leveraging digital capabilities and optimizing the delivery of scientific information externally to health care providers, payers and patients, thus enabling positive patient outcomes.
- Foster a culture of innovative approaches to scientific content digital dissemination across customer segments through research, benchmarking and anticipating customer needs.
- Measure and track the success of digital initiatives, utilizing relevant metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize performance.
- Stay abreast of industry emerging digital trends, best practices and developments in digital health, assess their applicability to scientific affairs activities, and providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Work independently and collaborate across functions including Medical Affairs, IT, Compliance, and variety of stakeholders and partners.
- Bachelors Degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Experience in digital strategy, medical affairs, or related roles within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and trends as they relate to medical and scientific affairs.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to establish strategic direction for cross-functional project teams
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in digital healthcare communications.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills
