At GMF our Cybersecurity organization is a global team consisting of architecture, engineering, operations, governance, and risk functions under the Chief Information Security Officer reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
The Cybersecurity Associate Analyst (Governance, Training, and Awareness) has three main functions:
- Developing, delivering, and promoting an education and training program for global employees to raise cybersecurity awareness
- Facilitating the creation, review, and delivery of global Cybersecurity communications
- Developing, distributing, and monitoring periodic anti-phishing campaigns
Job Duties:
- Initiate, facilitate, and promote Cybersecurity activities to create Cybersecurity awareness within the organization
- Develop and deliver a Cybersecurity education and training program for employees, contractors, and other authorized users
- Facilitate the creation, review, and delivery of Cybersecurity communications
- Develops, distributes, and monitors periodic anti-phishing campaigns
- Collaborate with business partners to manage Cybersecurity needs
- Monitor adherence to Cybersecurity policies, standards, and controls
- Engage with GMF Cybersecurity teams to identify, prioritize, plan, and execute Cybersecurity initiatives and internal projects
- Track, monitor, and report on key cybersecurity initiatives, milestones, deliverables, resources, remediation items, and/or findings through completion
- Prepare reporting for various aspects of the Cybersecurity program
- Identify opportunities for enhancements in efficacy and efficiency to current Cybersecurity processes, people, and technology
- Provide support to Cybersecurity teams on initiatives and efforts
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Conform with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
Knowledge
- Must have a high level understanding of financial services industry, security, risk and privacy
- Must have current knowledge and stay up-to-date on the latest Cybersecurity legislation, regulations, advisories, alerts and vulnerabilities
- Must have knowledge of Information Security and Cybersecurity frameworks
- Proficiency with MS-Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Project
- Knowledge of security methodologies, policies, standards and industry practices
- Knowledge of information technology systems, infrastructure and operations
- Understanding of cloud technologies and concepts
- Familiarity with DevOps and Agile development process

- Ability to initiate, facilitate and promote Cybersecurity within the organization and monitor adherence to Cybersecurity policies, standards and controls
- Ability to clearly explain and articulate technical concepts using non-technical language

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred
Experience
- 0-2 years of demonstrable experience leading collaborative programs and projects with senior level management required
- 0-2 years of experience in large and complex business environments with a successful track record working directly with senior level management with working knowledge in one or more of the following domains: Access Control, Telecom and Network Security, Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, Software Development Security, Cryptography, Security Architecture and Design, Operational Security, Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery, Legal Regulations, Investigations and Compliance, Physical (Environmental) Security, IT or Security Audit, IT or Security Compliance preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in the financial services industry preferred
