We are seeking an experienced individual to join Credit Risk Management Services group to partner with each of our core capabilities as we work to transform the lending operating model. In this role you will be responsible for supporting transaction lifecycle activities, establishing processes and procedures to align with policies, and working with technology to enhance system controls. You will be supported by the partnership of our global team and the surrounding wholesale lending franchise.
Intermediate Associate Credit Maintenance Analyst a developing professional role. This role identifies policy and applies specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
+ Independently manages, prepares, reviews and processes loan documentation while providing support to a variety of tasks related to the loan process withing SLA.
+ Process hard mail received form postal carriers within required SLA.
+ Preform Inventory count
+ Maintain, monitor, and oversee vault in accordance with safekeeping policy.
+ Manage, monitor, process and track other daily activities such as Document tracking records (DTR) releases, waiver & deferrals, invoicing, Uniform commercial Code (UCC), Insurance, and reporting (etc).
+ Provides informal guidance and/or on-the-job-training to new team members.
+ Deals with most loan-related problems independently and has some latitude to resolve complex issues, where expertise is required to interpret against policies, guidelines, or processes.
+ Applies judgment when interpreting data, preparing reports, and presents findings to management
+ Timely escalation and resolution of all inquiries and issues related to loan documentation.
+ Demonstrates an understanding of the loan documentation processes to identify policy gaps/trends, makes resolution recommendations, and formulate policies to support the streamlining of related work processes.
+ Minimizes risk to the bank through a solid understanding of procedural requirements - provides solutions to reduce errors, to adhere to audit and control policies. Serves as a maker/checker for systematic transactions as a last line of defense.
+ Adhere to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct business practices, escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
· 0-2 years relevant experience with legal documentation and or quality assurance
· Basic knowledge of Business Processes, Systems and Tools used in the Loan Process
· Demonstrate understanding of Loan Processes, Procedures, Products and Services
· General awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation
· Able to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
· Reasonable awareness of risk types, policies and control measures and processes
· Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Policies.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
