Role and Scope of Position:
he Associate Talent Acquisition Consultant, University Relations will provide full lifecycle execution of campus recruitment activities for multiple college level programs. Responsibilities include developing relationships with colleges/universities to effectively build a diverse talent pipeline that meets the needs of our workforce plans, creating on-campus recruitment activities, participating in diversity outreach events, sourcing and identifying talent, managing on and off campus information sessions and interviews, consulting on final selection of candidates and extending offers. This role will lead the on-going enhancement of on-campus programs and strategic partnerships, which include identifying creative solutions to recruiting obstacles and process improvements. Promotes Eversources full-time opportunities, development programs, internships and cooperative education programs (co-op) within our communities as well as other Workforce Development programs, including Lineworker and EPUT.
Essential Functions:
+ Consults with and collaborates with key stakeholders both within Human Resources and the business to identify and prioritize staffing needs, workforce planning strategies and search assignments. Design and deliver programsthat meet current and future business requirements and also address challenges related to college hiring.
+ Uses a variety of resources to proactively and continually source, develop and maintain a pipeline and network of diverse talent available to access for immediate hiring to meet business needs. Seeks creative solutions for sourcing candidates which positions Eversouce’s brand strongly in the marketplace and further establishes a culture that promotes excellence and fuels growth. Leverages internet recruiting resources and internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to identify, recruit and network for candidates. Develops and maintains relationships with target schools and student organizations.
+ Creates and executes campus-recruiting plans that include targeted marketing and communications strategies. Designs, organizes, facilitates and attends innovative university relations activities and events. Tracks results and effectiveness of college recruiting activities and efforts. Conducts research, utilizes recruiting metrics, and stays on top of student life issues and general business trends.
+ Uses the full functionality of ATS to manage the marketing, selection, offer, negotiation and closing involved in full lifecycle recruiting. Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions and other recruiting activities to ensure Company and legal compliance with employment practices, policies and processes.
+ Manages and coordinates communication with applicants and candidates to include: Reviews resumes; prescreens candidates; prepares applicants for interviewing; provides Company information and expectation setting of employment process; ensures timely feedback to candidates.
+ Leads communication and relationships with hiring managers and interview teams; provides feedback on initial prescreening and interviewing of applicants; assures timely action with hiring managers to schedule interview and obtain timely interview feedback; coordinate and communicates movement of candidates through various systems including background checking/results and assure timely offers.
+ Works to meet established metrics per the assigned business unit or function. Provides insightful analysis of reports and makes recommendations for improvements
+ Participate on various HR/Recruiting project initiatives
Experience:
+ An ideal candidate will have a positive and self-directed attitude. Must possess strong networking skills, ability to handle multiple projects at one time and establish priorities. Candidate must also be flexible and have the ability to adapt to changes in process.
+ Travel required to college campuses and other recruiting events required. Increased frequent travel requirements during peak seasons.
+ Bachelor's degree (in Business, Human Resources or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
+ A minimum 2+ years of recruiting experience, with a focus on campus recruiting.
+ Knowledge of full lifecycle campus recruiting components including successfully sourcing a diverse range of applicants, qualifying, interviewing, networking, assessing, salary negotiation, relationship management, and due diligence.
+ Experience developing campus administration relationships, student relationships, and campus recruiting programs.
+ Prior experience in a high-volume setting that requires a sense of immediacy, with demonstrated ability to manage competing demands, receive constructive feedback, and maintain adaptability and flexibility.
+ Strong organizational, time management and process management skills.
+ Ability to build strong relationships and demonstrate a candidate-centric approach to help Eversource stand out as an employer of choice.
+ Demonstrated ability to take ownership of selection process and successfully manage a high-volume workload.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary to effectively work with senior management, hiring managers, applicants and candidates.
+ Tech Savvy, Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) skills are required. Experience with Workday ATS is a plus.
