About the Role
The Associate Consultant will be part of a team that works for and within Industrial Customers at Power Plants, Manufacturing Facilities and other Industrial Environments. The company has four (4) distinct lines of business: Industrial Technology, Environmental Consulting, Industrial Automation and Project Management. Bring your initiative and willingness to work! What You'll Do:
- Work with our consulting team on customer projects.
- Resolve issues with applications, systems or networks by designing and implementing solutions
- Understand what users need, and modify system and network requirements accordingly
- Test and support networks
- Assure that the networks are secure and available to all users and that networks operate smooth
- Support other consultants with Field Installation work and Customer Activities.
Who we are Looking for
- Experience implementing and administering client and network operating system
- Technology experience, degree preferred, not required
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated team players and who has strong communication, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
- Cisco CCNA certification a plus or interest in earning certification
- Ability to work in the field with installations - Work locations are primarily in New Jersey at our Office location(s), or customer sites. However, we require a willingness to work at customer locations, primarily in the NY, NJ metro area, with the potential for some travel outside our local area.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, to include Excel, Word, etc.
