The candidate will be tasked with providing expert advice on tax-related matters, including tax planning, tax litigation, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
1. Providing expert advice and guidance on a variety of tax-related matters, including tax planning, compliance, and litigation.
2. Conducting thorough and meticulous research to support legal proceedings and to provide advice on complex tax issues.
3. Preparing and reviewing legal documents, such as pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
4. Representing clients in court and before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or to initiate legal actions.
5. Collaborating with team members and clients to develop strategies for resolving tax disputes.
6. Staying updated on the latest changes in tax laws and regulations, and applying this knowledge to client cases.
7. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are protected.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. LLM in Taxation is a plus.
3. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
4. Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax law, with a proven track record of success.
5. Experience with partnership tax, operating agreements & M&A.
