We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social security law, disability law, long-term disability, social security, and disability retirement pension. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal industry and a Juris Doctor Degree.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal support and advice to clients on social security law, disability law, long-term disability, social security, and disability retirement pension.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediation sessions.
- Research and analyze complex legal issues relating to social security and disability law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
- Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Provide legal advice to clients, present case law, and advise on rights and legal options.
- Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Stay updated on new developments in social security and disability law and integrate this knowledge into your work.
- Maintain high standards of professional conduct while providing the quality of representation expected by clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Must have a valid license to practice law.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social security law, disability law, long-term disability, social security, and disability retirement pension.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyze complex legal issues.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and agreements.
- Ability to represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediation sessions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to think strategically and analytically.
- Must have a high level of integrity and professional accountability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong commitment to client service and demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
