We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate Attorney with expertise in Real Estate and Community Association Law to join our esteemed legal team. This role is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide onsite legal counsel and services, with a focus on real estate and community association matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in condo, real estate; with litigation, and a passion for providing exceptional legal service.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney in our firm, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Provide comprehensive legal counsel to community associations, board members, and individual owners on a broad range of issues including governance, contracts, rules enforcement, and dispute resolution.
2. Handle all aspects of real estate transactions, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
3. Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
4. Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions on various real estate and community association matters.
5. Provide advice on legal risks and implications of various real estate transactions and decisions.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys and paralegals in the firm to ensure a high level of client service.
7. Stay updated with the latest legal trends, regulations, and rulings in real estate and community association law.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Georgia Bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in condominium, real estate, and litigation law.
4. Proven experience in representing community associations and handling real estate transactions.
5. Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and client management skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concise manner.
7. Proficient in legal research and able to generate innovative legal strategies.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
