Our distinguished law firm is actively seeking a Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a team of top-tier legal professionals. This position provides the opportunity to handle a broad range of responsibilities and offers significant potential for professional growth. This role is 100% remote, and the candidate must be based in Arizona or Utah.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney, you will be expected to:
1. Handle a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, wrongful death, and construction defect cases.
2. Provide high-quality legal advice and assistance to our clients, ensuring their legal rights and interests are protected.
3. Conduct thorough and meticulous depositions to gather crucial information for cases.
4. Represent clients in court trials, presenting strong arguments and evidence to achieve favorable outcomes.
5. Engage in commercial litigation, managing cases from inception through to resolution.
6. Draft, review, and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
7. Defend insurance companies in litigation, utilizing your expertise to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the Arizona or Utah Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, wrongful death, construction defect, and employment law.
4. Proven experience in providing legal advice and assistance.
5. Experience in conducting depositions and handling trials. Trial experience is a significant plus.
6. Proficiency in commercial litigation and managing legal documents.
7. Experience in insurance defense is highly desirable.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and legal professionals.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
10. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
11. High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
