As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be joining a dynamic and fast-paced legal team, working on a variety of complex and challenging cases. This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you can expand your skills and knowledge in professional liability, labor and employment, casualty, construction defect, general liability, and coverage. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of litigation, from case inception through trial or resolution. Responsibilities:
1. Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs.
2. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
3. Provide legal advice and counsel on complex legal matters related to professional liability, labor and employment, casualty, construction defect, general liability, and coverage.
4. Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
5. Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes in the best interest of our clients.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive legal approach to client representation.
8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a focus on professional liability, labor and employment, casualty, construction defect, general liability, and coverage.
3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
4. Proven experience in handling all aspects of litigation, from case inception through trial or resolution.
5. Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
10. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively resolve disputes.
