We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will primarily focus on insurance defense and civil litigation, with an emphasis on high-quality client service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal industry, preferably in a similar role. Responsibilities:
The Permanent Associate Attorney will be responsible for the following:
1. Managing a comprehensive caseload, with a focus on insurance defense and civil litigation, while ensuring all cases are handled in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Developing and implementing effective legal strategies that meet our clients' needs and objectives.
3. Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and making compelling arguments on their behalf.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
5. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on potential legal problems and solutions.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
7. Staying up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may impact our clients and their cases.
8. Participating in business development activities to attract new clients and strengthen relationships with existing ones.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Associate Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Active member in good standing with the State Bar.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense and civil litigation.
4. Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
5. Strong advocacy skills with experience representing clients in court.
6. Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
8. Ability to manage a large caseload and work effectively under pressure.
9. Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and maintaining client confidentiality.
10. Proficiency in using legal software and technology tools to improve efficiency and productivity.
