Associate Attorney (Mergers & Acquisitions) - Innovative Driven

Innovative Driven is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with at least four years of Mergers & Acquisitions experience to join a well-respected law firm client with offices located in Akron, Canton, and Cleveland. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Draft and negotiate contracts and documents for commercial and finance transactions
• Advise on mergers and acquisitions and business entity governance matters
• Assist clients in the creation and restructuring of business entities
• Assist with due diligence efforts and post-deal integration
• Act as a subject matter expert in the knowledge of laws and regulatory developments

REQUIREMENTS:

• Interest in developing a book of business and a successful practice over time
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate/transactional experience in a law firm or in house legal department
• Background in business, tax, commercial transactions, lending, finance, or accounting preferred
• Must be licensed or able to attain a license to practice law in the State of Ohio
