Job Details
We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance defense, personal injury defense, or civil litigation and possess excellent litigation skills.
Responsibilities:
Handle a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution
Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trials
Attend depositions and conduct examinations of witnesses
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case status and answer any questions they may have
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the State Bar [State]
Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law in insurance defense, personal injury defense, or civil litigation
Strong litigation skills, including experience in case management and trial preparation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
