Job Details
2 Associate Positions open - one in Manhattan and one in Long Island.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice in New York w/2-7 years of litigation experience
- Experience with general liability insurance is highly preferred
- Experience with other insurance defense including asbestos, toxic torts, construction, construction defect, NY labor law, and premise liability, a plus
Responsibilities:
- Work on multiple cases from inception through trial
- Attend/conduct depositions for multiple types of defendants regarding different types of products
- Primary drafting of client reports, motions, pretrial disclosures, settlement releases and other legal filings
- Motion argument and conferences before NY Judges, arguments and conferences before the Special Master
