About the Job
We are partnered with a dynamic and fast-paced plaintiff’s firm specializing in personal injury, nursing home neglect, semi-truck and auto crashes, automobile product liability, and insurance bad faith claims.
We are seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-10 years of civil litigation experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in personal injury, nursing home neglect, semi-truck and auto crashes, automobile product liability, and insurance bad faith. While we prefer experience representing plaintiffs, we are also open to candidates with defense experience who are eager to transition into plaintiff work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload involving personal injury, nursing home neglect, automobile accidents, semi-truck accidents, product liability, and insurance bad faith claims.
- Handle all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' best interests.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
Qualifications:
- 3-10 years of civil litigation experience.
- Experience in personal injury, nursing home neglect, auto crashes, semi-truck accidents, automobile product liability, and insurance bad faith cases.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to advocate effectively in court.
- A proven track record of success in handling litigation from start to finish.
- A high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases at once.
- Energetic, driven, and go-getter personality—a passion for advocating for clients and a strong desire to succeed.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Missouri
- Experience with case management software and legal research tools preferred.
