Our prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious attorney who is passionate about advocating for clients and achieving successful outcomes. We specialize in personal injury cases, particularly those involving plaintiffs and trucking accidents. As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional legal services.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support personal injury cases, particularly those involving plaintiffs and trucking accidents
- Drafting and filing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Representing clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials
- Conducting negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance companies to achieve favorable settlements for clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Managing a caseload of personal injury cases, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and support staff as needed
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state where the position is located
- 3+ years of experience in personal injury law, particularly with personal injury plaintiffs and trucking accidents
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to apply legal principles to complex factual scenarios
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate persuasively on behalf of clients
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Demonstrated success in negotiating favorable settlements and achieving successful outcomes for clients
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
