Civil Litigation Attorney
Our client is a highly respected law firm with a strong focus on civil litigation, recognized for delivering top-tier legal services to clients in California. The firm is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team in a hybrid work setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to advance their career in a collaborative and dynamic legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a diverse caseload involving civil litigation matters, including business disputes, contract issues, and tort claims.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other critical legal documents.
- Handle all aspects of discovery, including interrogatories, depositions, and requests for production.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings.
- Develop and execute effective legal strategies tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare for complex trials and high-stakes cases.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide sound legal counsel to ensure excellent client service.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in civil litigation (experience in insurance litigation, municipal/public entity litigation, and/or commercial litigation is beneficial)
- Must be Bar licensed in California, in good standing.
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team when managing cases in a hybrid setting.
