A prestigious and nationally recognized law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney with two or more years of relevant litigation experience to join their highly regarded litigation and insurance coverage team. While experience in insurance law is preferred, we welcome accomplished litigators from any practice area with exceptional skills and a strong desire to expand their expertise.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to take on substantial responsibility, handling all facets of litigation, from legal research and motion practice to discovery, hearings, and trial preparation. Associate Attorneys collaborate closely with a team of skilled professionals to provide counsel and defend clients on complex claims and regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting motions, and managing discovery processes.
- Appear at hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials, presenting compelling arguments and representing clients in legal proceedings.
- Develop creative legal strategies to solve complex problems, and advise clients on litigation and regulatory matters.
- Work collaboratively with a team of experienced attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.
- Take on increasing responsibility as a trusted member of the litigation team handling complex and high-profile cases.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in civil or commercial defense, with a preference for insurance law experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing innovative legal strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Trial experience is preferred but not required.
