Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense - Gpac

A well established law firm is seeking a talented associate attorney with two or more years of relevant litigation experience to join their nationally recognized litigation and insurance coverage team. Although experience with insurance law is preferred, we welcome accomplished attorneys with exceptional skills in any litigation area.

This position offers the opportunity to handle significant responsibility in all aspects of litigation, including legal research, motion, practice, discovery, as well as appearing and presenting arguments at hearings, depositions, arbitrations and trials. Associate attorneys work collaboratively with their team of skilled lawyers to counsel and defend clients relating to claims and regulatory matters.

Background and Skills:

• 2+ years of litigation experience in civil or commercial defense, preferably in insurance law
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to develop creative legal strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks and collaborate well in a fast-paced environment
• Licensed, in good standing with the California Bar
• JD from an accredited law school
• Trial experience is preferred, but not required
