Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload involving insurance defense, personal injury protection (PIP), first party property, and construction defect.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve successful resolution of cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on various insurance-related matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding risk exposure, claim management, and policy interpretation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance defense.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a consistent and high quality of legal service is provided to all clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida state bar.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation, with specific experience in PIP, first party property, and construction defect cases.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload.
- Exceptional legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
