We are seeking an associate attorney interested in the areas of first party property, premises liability and/or nursing home defense.

We are looking for a dynamic, highly-skilled Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense to join our reputable law firm. The chosen candidate will be an integral part of our legal team, working on a full-time, onsite basis. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging, high-stakes cases, and to contribute to our firm's reputation for excellence in the Legal industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in First Party Property, Civil Litigation, nursing home cases, and premises liability.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate Attorney you will be expected to:
1. Handle a diverse caseload involving First Party Property, Civil Litigation, nursing home cases, and premises liability.
2. Regularly communicate with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel to manage and resolve cases effectively.
3. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case development and strategic planning.
4. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
5. Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
6. Develop a strong understanding of each client's insurance policy and claim, and provide sound legal advice accordingly.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest legal trends and developments in the field of insurance defense to ensure the firm's practices are compliant and cutting-edge.
8. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Insurance Defense position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Florida state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an attorney, with a focus on insurance defense.
4. Proven experience in First Party Property, Civil Litigation, nursing home cases, and premises liability.
5. Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines.
8. Strong negotiation skills and experience in settling cases.
9. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
