Job Details
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct initial consultations and provide advice.
- Occasional court hearings and interviews
- Meet with 4-6 clients per day whether they are consultations or to discuss case strategy. These meetings are often in Spanish.
- Review the work of paralegals to ensure top quality
- Work heavily in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro
Job Qualifications
- Mid-level Associates, ideally with 7+ years’ immigration experience
- English/Spanish Bilingual fluency
- CA Bar admission in good standing
- Ideally 2+ years of experience conducting consultations
- Experienced with:
o Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and relief under the Convention Against Torture
o Cancellation of Removal (EOIR-42A and EOIR-42B)
o U-visas
o Green Cards Adjustment of Status
o Consular Processing
o Naturalization
o DACA
o EADs
o Advanced Parole requests
o I-751s
