Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and driven Permanent Associate Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. This role is ideal for an experienced attorney who thrives in a challenging environment and has a proven track record in business law, construction, drafting, arbitration, depositions, and disputes.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of business and construction law matters.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
3. Represent clients in arbitration proceedings and manage all aspects of the arbitration process.
4. Conduct and defend depositions, ensuring all relevant facts are accurately recorded and presented.
5. Handle a variety of disputes, providing strategic guidance and advice to clients to achieve the best possible outcome.
6. Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure a high level of client service.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
3. Proven experience in business law, construction law, drafting, arbitration, depositions, and dispute resolution.
4. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to draft and interpret complex legal documents.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
