Position Overview: We are seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney with 0-3 years of experience to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters, including family law cases, bankruptcy filings, business law matters, and estate planning. The ideal candidate will have a passion for legal practice, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage client relationships with professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support in family law, bankruptcy, business law, and estate planning matters.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as needed.
- Research legal issues and prepare case summaries and legal opinions.
- Assist senior attorneys with case preparation and trial strategy.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring they are informed about case developments.
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with the legal team on strategy and case management.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar in Kentucky.
- 0-3 years of legal experience (family law, bankruptcy, business law, or estate planning experience is a plus).
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- A team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for practicing law.
