About Us

Boyd Richards Parker & Colonnelli, PL, is a fast-growing civil defense law firm with over 70 attorneys and two decades of providing exceptional legal services to corporate, insurance, and individual clients. As we continue our rapid expansion, we are seeking skilled Associate Attorneys with 3–10 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic Fort Lauderdale team.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll independently manage cases from inception to trial, collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals in a diverse and inclusive environment. You’ll work on challenging and varied cases, including:

• Premises liability
• Product liability
• Construction defect and injury
• Public entity and civil rights
• Commercial auto and trucking cases

This role offers direct client and carrier contact and the opportunity to assist senior associates and partners on complex litigation matters. We foster a team-oriented, open-door culture with a focus on professional growth, mutual respect, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload from inception through post-trial.
• Attend court conferences, oral arguments, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Draft timely case status reports for clients and carriers.
• Communicate effectively with clients, senior attorneys, and paralegals.
• Meet billing requirements and deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Member of the Florida Bar in good standing (federal District Court admission is a plus).
• 3–10 years of litigation experience.
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (ProLaw knowledge is a plus).
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and delegation skills.
