Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload of matrimonial matters, including divorce, child custody, alimony, property division, and related issues.
- Conduct legal research, analyze case law, and provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, pleadings, motions, and other necessary paperwork.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.
- Maintain a high level of client communication and provide regular updates on case progress.
- Stay abreast of changes in family law legislation and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Bar in New Jersey
- 10 years of experience practicing matrimonial law.
- Strong knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and procedures.
- Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize a high caseload efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and upholding ethical standards.
