Responsibilities:
The Associate Attorney is a leading role in our continuing civil rights efforts to ensure that minority and vulnerable employees have equal access to the workplace as guaranteed by the Fair Employment & Housing Act (FEHA), the California Labor Code, the California Family Rights Act (CFRA), and the various other state laws providing additional protections to individuals and employees’ civil rights. The Associate Attorney, under the direction of the Partners, collaborates with members of the litigation team, works to counsel and educate clients on their civil rights, and advocates in state and federal court on behalf of clients. The Associate Attorney will work closely with our litigation team on litigation to protect the rights of vulnerable individuals and their communities.
Requirements:
3+ years of employment law and/or litigation experience
Experience handling every aspect of plaintiff-side employment litigation
Eager to join a dynamic, collaborative, and inclusive team
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Excellent research and writing skills along with the ability to multi-task
