Associate Attorney - Employment Law - Gpac

A highly regarded boutique law firm is seeking an emerging associate attorney to grow with their recognized practice. We are searching for a motivated, detail-oriented associate attorney interested in fighting for workers' rights in a variety of labor and employment disputes. Associate attorneys collaborate with senior attorneys and staff, assisting in all aspects of litigation and taking on increased responsibility. This is the perfect role for an associate attorney looking to build expertise in litigation and employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and assist with all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, briefs, and related correspondence
• Participate in client interviews, strategy discussions, and depositions
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court appearances
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys on case strategy and client management

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar
• 0-2 years of litigation experience (plaintiff experience preferred)
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Passion for employment law and commitment to fighting for employee rights
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
