Our esteemed law firm is seeking a seasoned Permanent Associate Attorney with a strong background in Employment Law and Commercial Litigation. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, strategic, and innovative professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry. If you are an ambitious individual looking to work on high-stakes litigation and complex legal matters, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Represent clients in complex commercial litigation, real estate law, and business transactions.
2. Develop strategies for compliance and regulatory matters to minimize legal risks.
3. Provide expert guidance on estate and trust tax planning to protect clients' interests.
4. Handle corporate litigation, business litigation, and alternative dispute resolution effectively.
5. Prepare and draft legal documents such as contracts, depositions, and pleadings.
6. Conduct extensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to client service.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to stay ahead of changes in the legal landscape.
9. Advocate for clients in court and negotiate settlements where appropriate.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal industry, specifically in employment law and commercial litigation.
3. Proven experience in complex commercial litigation, real estate law, business transactions, and corporate law.
4. Exceptional knowledge of compliance and regulatory expertise.
5. Solid experience in estate and trust tax planning.
6. Demonstrable expertise in corporate litigation, business litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.
7. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
9. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
10. Must be a member in good standing with the state bar.
