Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and court proceedings.
2. Draft, review and manage a wide array of legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and agreements.
3. Provide legal advice to clients and provide them with comprehensive, practical, and sound legal guidance.
4. Represent clients in court, argue motions, and participate in trial proceedings as needed.
5. Ensure legal compliance in all operations and advise on possible legal implications and potential risks.
6. Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies, conduct discovery, and manage caseloads.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal news, and trends in the industry.
8. Handle personal injury cases, negotiate settlements, and advocate for clients' rights and interests.
9. Provide legal assistance to other attorneys in the firm as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with at least 2 years of experience in personal injury law.
4. Proven experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, and litigation.
5. Strong knowledge of legal compliance and corporate governance.
6. Excellent legal writing and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal issues and solutions clearly and concisely.
7. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
8. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work well under pressure.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
11. Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and high level of integrity.
