We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Permanent Associate Attorney to join our legal team. This position is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with experience in creditors, trustees, debtors, and civil litigation. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of accomplished attorneys to provide legal advice, represent our clients in court, and manage and advise clients on legal transactions. Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert legal support and advice to clients.
2. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation.
3. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
4. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
5. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
6. Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
7. Consult with clients, colleagues, and other professionals to discuss case details, conduct legal research, interpret laws, regulations, and rulings, and determine feasible solutions or strategies.
8. Manage creditor, debtor, and trustee relationships and matters.
9. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney, preferably in civil litigation, creditors, trustees, and debtors.
3. Admission to the state bar.
4. Proven background in civil litigation and creditor/debtor law.
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
6. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and challenges.
7. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
10. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
11. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with changes in laws and regulations.
