Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation from initiation to expert discovery in matters involving Civil and Commercial Litigation.
- Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case initiatives.
- Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda.
- Provide legal advice to clients and work collaboratively with other attorneys to develop case strategies.
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Manage a large caseload and ensure deadlines are met while adhering to firm policies and procedures.
- Attend court appearances, argue motions, and participate in trial on behalf of our clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Must be admitted to practice law and in good standing with the State Bar.
- A minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, specifically in Civil Litigation and Commercial Litigation.
- Strong experience in drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and trial preparation.
- Exceptional skills in legal research and writing are a must.
- Proficiency in using legal software and technology for case management, research, and litigation support.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases simultaneously.
- Commitment to maintaining high levels of confidentiality while handling sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-stress scenarios.
- Proven track record of dedication to excellent client service and advocacy.
