Premier Dallas law firm is actively seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience in commercial/business litigation. The chosen candidate will support and work on a variety of complex matters in both state and federal court, including commercial and business litigation. The firm's unique expertise across various practice areas ensures a dynamic and challenging work environment. The ideal candidate should possess excellent oral and written advocacy skills, demonstrate experience with hearings, depositions, drafting discovery, motion practice, and client communication. Strong academic credentials and a robust work ethic are also highly valued.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the State of Texas
- 2+ years of experience in business and commercial litigation, securities experience prefered.
- Trial and trial preparation experience is a plus
- Superior written and oral communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
